This policy explains how PrivateSecre uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It sits alongside our Privacy policy. We follow the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember a choice or measure how a site is used. This policy covers both.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
We store your cookie choice so we do not ask you on every page, and so non-essential scripts stay off until you accept them. This does not need consent under PECR. The site does not use this storage for advertising.
Analytics
If you accept analytics, we may use Google Analytics 4, loaded directly or through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are used. These scripts do not run unless you accept analytics. If analytics is not active on the site, accepting the category does not place Google cookies.
Google acts as our processor for this measurement. Google’s own privacy information is at policies.google.com/privacy. IP addresses may be processed outside the UK, as described in the Privacy policy.
We do not use advertising, social-media or retargeting cookies.
